The not surprisingly postponed Plate Final was played on Sunday at Nunholm between Kingholm and Annan. Despite the eventual 20-run difference between the sides the match was closely and fiercely contested. Annan were up with the run-rate all through their innings but the excellent bowling and safe catching of the Kingholm side proved too much – wickets rather than overs being Annan’s downfall.
